For bar private room, Morayo—wey always dey package—don drunk scatter, dey sad.

She no dey form big babe again. Her hair rough, her dress dey fall. She dey sip drink like say she dey find answer inside bottle.

Table full with empty bottles.

Star, Smirnoff, even Origin—she mix everything. Waiter dey look her with pity, but she no send.

The bar dey smell of stale Star and pepper soup, bouncer dey eye everybody with long face.

One guy wan near her, Morayo just break glass for him head.

E be like say the guy no get sense. As he touch her shoulder, she fling glass, the thing land for ground, scatter. The whole bar pause.

"Commot!"

Her voice loud, barmaid dey fear. Security come, but she bone face. Nobody fit near her again.

But as the guy waka, she begin feel hot.

Her face dey flush, sweat dey break. She dey fan herself, but body no dey gree calm.

She realise say the wine no pure, try leave but leg no gree.

Her vision dey blur, her leg dey wobble. She dey reason—who put something for my drink?

Sani, wey dey follow her, appear sharp, hold her.

He rush enter, see as she dey struggle. He hold her shoulder, try balance her.

"Morayo, wetin dey do you?"

His voice low, he dey panic. He dey try act hero.

Morayo push am. "Commot, no touch me."

Her voice sharp. She dey struggle, no wan let anybody help.

Ayotunde go vex.

She dey reason—if Ayotunde catch Sani here, fight fit burst. But she no care again.

But Sani still dey try. "You sure say dem no drug you?"

He dey shake her, check her face, look her eye.

"I... I fit help you."

He dey talk soft, but I sabi say e get hidden agenda.

Sani start to dey pull shirt, face look like say him wan die put.

He dey sweat, his hand dey shake. E be like say temptation dey fight him mind.

"I say make you commot. You no dey hear?"

Morayo dey para, her hand dey push am back. But her strength dey fail.

Morayo fall for sofa, her disgust for Sani don reach the peak.

She look am with eye wey fit burn cloth. If look fit kill, Sani for die that moment.

Ayotunde don leave her, now dem wan spoil her body, so she no fit stand by Ayotunde again?

She dey think—if I lose guard, my body go be another person own. Her chest dey tight.

She just dey reason murder.

For her mind, she dey plan how to escape, but her body no gree move.

DJ dey play Burna Boy low for background, but nobody send.

Sani, eyes red, try pull Morayo cloth. "I dey do am by myself. You fit pretend say e no happen."

His voice low, e be like say devil dey talk through am. Morayo dey struggle, but her strength dey fail.

Morayo body just dey react, every part dey shout for Sani to take am.

The thing dey shock her—why her body dey betray her like this? E be like say jazz dey work.

She know say this her desire don pass the drug effect.

Her mind dey scream, but body no dey hear. She dey pray for help.

WhatsApp group dey mad.

[Campus queen, abeg stop dey form, just jump main guy.]

[See as she don wet, e sweet die.]

[I wan see them finish. Main guy, abeg no dull!]

Group chat dey craze. Everybody dey shout, dey encourage nonsense. For real life, na evil be this.

As WhatsApp group dey cheer, my own body dey heavy.

For my mind, I dey reason—wetin I dey wait for? If I no stop this thing, na me go regret am forever.

Last last, I no fit hold am, I find the bar where dem dey.

I jump okada, rain dey pour, I no send. I just dey run like say fire dey my back.

I search room to room, dey rush.

Bar dey dark, my shoe dey wet, but I no care. I dey ask waiter—"You see Morayo? You see Sani?" Dem just dey point, dey fear my face.

Until I hear urgent moan for one private room.

My ear pick am—voice dey shake. I rush go, heart dey beat.

"Morayo, Morayo..."

I hear my name for her mouth, e weak me. Tears dey my eye. My hand dey shake for door handle.

My heart just break like bottle, tears dey fall anyhow.

I try hold myself, but pain dey tear me. For all my life, I never feel this kind heartbreak.

I don imagine this scene for my head plenty times, but to see am live, the pain no get part two.

Na only for Nollywood you go see this kind thing. As I dey for door, I dey see my whole life dey rewind.

I dey tell myself—she no mean anything, I no send.

I dey form hard man, dey talk say I no care. But na lie. My soul dey bleed.

I wipe my tears, hold door handle.

I rub face, use back of hand clear water. I dey ready face anything.

As long as I see am with my eye, maybe I fit free her from my mind.

If I see am, maybe my mind go finally rest. I dey pray make my chest free.

I push open the door.

As I open door, my whole world pause. Wetin I see for that room fit break even strong man—my leg weak, my breath hang for throat...
