Boss reply sharp sharp: "So quick like that?"
Me: "Which one be quick?"
Boss: "I need to reason am..."
Just two seconds later, he send another message: "E dey okay?"
I gree. Next thing, he close from work early, give everybody for company three whole days off.
People begin pack their bags, some dey laugh, some dey call home say, "Mama, I dey come house early today!"
I just sit for my desk dey reason: Chai, so dem dey try this hard to make me stay?
I feel somehow, my leg dey shake under table, na so I just dey tap biro for desk. For my mind I dey wonder, this resignation letter, shey na magic I send so? Person go drop letter, dem go dey behave like say dem wan cry. Na wa o! My Naija people sabi surprise person.
