Chapter 3: They Are Watching

The mouse sound sharp. Suddenly, the screen freeze small.

Then two options pop up:

I hiss, shake my head, and click Yes, my mind dey sure say this na just yeye prank software.

But then, the screen freeze again.

As I dey reason whether my computer don catch virus—

Blood-red text flash for screen:

[Congratulations, you have passed the test.]

[We will come to pick you up within a week. Please do not speak, do not open the door, and do not answer any calls now.]

[Do not let them know you have discovered their abnormality.]

[If you do not receive any further emails from us after a week,]

[Then you can only pray for yourself.]

[Beeep...]

The computer screen just dey shake anyhow, then e go blue screen straight.

My heart jump reach throat. I slap my laptop body. Ah, na virus true true. This rubbish software don spoil my system!

I off the computer, ready to restart am—

But na that time:
